Use as a hot poultice to treat abscesses, boils, infected or dirty wounds, cracked heels, laminitis, and more. As a cold poultice, they’re effective for reducing inflammation from strains, sprains, sore shins, bruises, and capped hocks or elbows. They can also be used dry as a wound dressing or for pressure padding. Made from 100% cotton wool with a non-woven cover and a plastic backing, each pad contains a mild antiseptic (boric acid) and a natural poultice agent (Tragacanth) to support healing.
