STERIKING® Self Seal Dust Cover Bags (SSDC) are used together with wrapped trays, pouched items or containers to give extra protection for the packed items and for the sterile barrier. Self Seal Cover Bags protect sterile barrier system from breaking. SSDCs provide protection against microbes, dust, other dirt so that those do not get on to the SBS. Cover bags also protect SBS from high humidity and water. Cover bags contribute to better patient safety especially in unstable storing or transportation conditions. Cover bags can extend the shelf life of sterilized items that are wrapped in trays.
