The Laerdal Face Shield is a simple, low-cost CPR barrier that helps reduce hesitation to begin resuscitation by preventing direct contact with the patient’s mouth, nose, and face. While not providing absolute protection, it significantly reduces the risk of cross-contamination. The optional Technostat T-150(+) filter enhances ventilation safety with low air resistance and high dust-holding capacity, filtering 99.99% of aerosol and bacterial particles >2.7 µm.
